Kevin Riveros and Brenda Weber, two standout athletes from the Argentine national aerobics team, are set to embark on a journey to Bulgaria on the 27th of this month. They will represent Argentina at the Plovdiv Aerobic Open, a significant event held just one month before the World Championships in Pesaro, Italy.
As leading figures in the Pan American aerobics scene, Viveros and Weber will compete together in the mixed pair event and showcase their talents in individual competitions. At the World Championships, they will join forces with their teammates in the trio event. Brenda will team up with Guadalupe Aberastain and Matilda Pez, while Kevin will partner with Lola Gulota and Valentina Ramos. Notably, both trios earned Pan American medals in 2023, highlighting their competitive prowess.
Following the Plovdiv Cup, Brenda and Kevin will remain in Bulgaria for a training camp with Antonio Papazov, a world-renowned multi-medalist. This opportunity is part of their final preparations for the World Championships in Italy. The decision to stay in Europe for training was made to avoid the high costs of airfare between Argentina and Europe.
